Message	then yes, it'll take some work (although he shouldn't really have to remove a bunch of vacuum lines or anything). What is typically done is to pull the hoses from the intake pipes in the front. They are easy to get to and re-route to the controller solenoid. However, it does then lengthen the amount of vacuum hose between the solenoid and the actuators themselves, although that is typically not a big issue. AVC-R tech page shows how to do this.
